The Santa Barbara Sofa was originally conceived by John in 2004, for his meticulously reconstructed Villa. He needed a modern piece, with stately attributes, that could thrive in an environment of stone and timber. What he developed was an interpretation of a lifestyle that redefined people's expectations of comfort – a love letter to the unbridled elegance of the California coast.
